Tenth British F3 podium of the season at Snetterton

Jazeman Jaafar secured his tenth podium of the 2012 British F3 International Series at Snetterton, Norfolk, this weekend. In the first race torrential rain forced a red flap stoppage with Jazeman finishing seventh. The second race produced a second place podium for the young Malaysian and with more rain affecting the third race, Jaafar finished in fifth place. His strong points finish kept him in the Drivers’ Championship title hunt, with Jaafar maintaining third position.

A podium result in challenging conditions at Spa

The seventh round of the British F3 International Series was held this weekend at the famed Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium with Jazeman Jaafar having a tough time in challenging weather conditions. A fifth place in the first race was a promising start to the weekend, but the second race was cancelled due to torrential rain. The final race produced a fourth place finish for the Malaysian driver and more valuable championship points for him.

Belgium beckons for round seven of British F3

It has been three weeks since Jazeman Jaafar was out on track racing and the young Malaysian is keen to be back behind the wheel for the seventh round of the British Formula 3 International Series. Belgium is the next stop for the 19-year-old Carlin driver with the challenge of the historic Spa Francorchamps circuit ahead of him.

Luckless weekend in Germany

Jazeman Jaafar endured a weekend of luckless racing at Norisring in Germany this weekend, the sixth round of the British F3 International Series. Salvaging two seventh place finishes in the first two races was scant reward for the young Malaysian, and a retirement from the final race, Jaafar’s first non-finish of the season in British F3, was a lowpoint for him. Title rival Jack Harvey moved ahead of Jaafar in the Drivers championship, but with only four points between them, Jaafar is still very much in contention.
